INOSITOL-HEXA STAR contains a natural, very safe substance Inositol Hexaphosphate (IP-6), which is naturally found not only in plants (legumes, cereals, rice), in which it is the main source of energy for germinating seeds, but also in most mammalian cells, where it plays an important role in controlling a number of important cellular functions.
Inositol is a very important water-soluble substance that the body cannot produce in sufficient quantities on its own, and therefore must be supplied to the body through food. Inositol is usually included in the group of B vitamins under the name vitamin B8. However, it was not recognized as a separate vitamin until 1940. Chemically, it is a hexavalent cyclic alcohol. In plants, especially in cereals, myoinositol occurs mainly bound as phytic acid (or phytic acid), also known as inositol hexaphosphate or IP-6.
Phytic acid is referred to as an anti-nutritional substance in relation to minerals and is cited in the professional literature as a significant antioxidant.
