Carnosine was discovered (and its structure determined) at the beginning of the 20th century by the Russian scientist W.S. Gulevich. The product also contains fish oil concentrate containing docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), which are important for maintaining proper cardiovascular function and supporting fat metabolism.
